LAST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH POETRY READING EVENING

Dear Neighbour

Leading on from the Volume One Poetry Book posting last Sunday, I invite you to enjoy an evening of Poetry reading in my home. My Mothers’ favourite poem from this book is Perdition which I will be reading out first. You do not have to read out a poem, but if wanted, perhaps you could read another poem from my book, or from another source if preferred.

The last Friday of March is the 29th, 8-10pm.

Please drop me a note if you would like to attend, the more the merrier.

Please find enclosed Poems & Verse which I have read. It is obvious the author has a gist for words, and indeed a wordsmith, although not to more traditional taste, but it has been written with skill. Your kind invitation to the Poetry Reading is much appreciated, however, due to my many current commitments, I must decline.
